Big data analysis and visualization tools are the key to building up smart and future-proof mobility policies. The importance to collect and use data from different data sources and from different stakeholders, both private and public, is central in the e-SMART project. The e-SMART toolkit contains the necessary tools to manage and govern data.
The tool supports electric mobility planning actions, gathering data from partners’ platforms already operating in the territories, processing and intersecting them and providing means to observe and interact with data to make strategic and operative decisions.
It interacts with external systems, collects and dynamically integrates data available from any source in any format.
It processes huge volumes of data, also not structured or non-homogeneous, combines and processes them to support analysis at the strategic level.
They make accessible and viewable information of different nature and complexity allowing specialists to interact with data in real time.
The solution is developed on Fiware standard and technology. Fiware is the European framework of open source, open standard and royalty-free components for the development of smart solutions.
The e-SMART Decision Support System currently implements and makes available the following dashboards to support decision making with sound indicators.
The data collection set up by e-SMART partner resulted in a set of information that can be already integrated or, once acquired, standardized, and intersected within the platform, potentially available as DSS assets.
